Abstract

ABSTRAK


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tampilan sifat kuantitatif beberapa genotipe dari galur F7 padi beras merah (Oryza sativa L.) hasil silang ganda Indica dengan Javanica. Percobaan ini dilakukan di Desa Nyurlembang, Kecamatan Narmada Kabupaten Lombok Barat pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan November 2015. Rancangan Percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas 12 galur harapan padi beras merah dan empat tetua (Du’u, Soba, Piong dan Sri), setiap perlakuan di ulang tiga kali sehingga terdapat 48 unit percobaan. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisa dengan analisis ragam, selanjutnya di uji lanjut dengan DMRT  (5 %)  untuk parameter yang berbeda nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 12 galur hasil silang ganda Indica dengan Javanica karakter vegetatif umur berbunga paling genjah pada galur G15 (84,67 hss), tinggi tanaman terpendek pada galur G16 (125,8 cm), jumlah anakan produktif paling banyak pada galur G8 (25,43) dan jumlah anakan non produktif paling sedikit pada galur G11 (0,00). Untuk karakter generatif malai terpanjang galur G16 (31,00 cm), jumlah gabah berisi paling banyak galur G10 (121,37), jumlah gabah hampa paling sedikit galur G13 (26,62), berat 100 butir paling berat galur G11 (3,33 gram), berat gabah per-rumpun paling berat galur G13 (72,45 gram) dan hasil tertinggi galur G13 (9,01 ton/ha).


ABSTRACT


This research aims to observe quantitative traits of few lines of F7 red rice paddy  (Oryza sativa L.). This experiment was conducted in Nyur lembang village, Narmada District of West Lombok on August until November 2015.  Experimental Design used was a randomized block design (RCBD) consisted of 12 promising lines of red rice paddy and four parental cultivars (Du’u, Soba, Piong and Sri). Every treatment was repeated 3 times so there were 48 experimental units. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance with 5% significance level, followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) for significantly different result. The results of experiment shows that the 12 promosing lines from double croos between Indica and Javanica for vegetative characters: G15(84,67 das) is the fastest in flowering time, the shortest plant height is G16 (125,8 cm), the highest productive tillers is G8 (25,43, the lowest non-productive tillers is G11 (0,00). For generative characters: the longest panicle is G16 (31 cm), the highest grain number is G10 (121,37), the lowest number of empty grain is G13 (26,2). The highest of 100 grain weight is G11 (3,33 g) and grain yield/clump is G13 (72,45 g) and the higest grain yield is G13 (9,01 ton/ha)
